Job Description
Global Trade has set-up a Global Hub in Mumbai to manage the enrollment of suppliers in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) programs offered to J.P. Morgan customers. The group partners with SCF supplier Sales, Program Managers, Product, Trade Middle Office and Legal to maximize commercialization of our SCF programs by driving supplier onboarding agenda and automation initiatives.
We are looking for Analyst & Associates to join the Global Supplier enrollment Hub team in Mumbai. The role requires strong knowledge of product documentation, web-based solutions, and operational aspects.
  • Develop deep market, company and product knowledge about Trade & Supply Chain Finance.
  • Establish robust supplier onboarding framework and manage all aspects of supplier enrollment and implementation process for SCF programs globally.
  • Provide innovative solutions and proactively address the supplier needs by leveraging experience and market knowledge.
  • Manage Legal agreements and documentation for suppliers joining SCF programs
  • Manage supplier due diligence process Lien search and registration (e.g. UCC filing in the USA)
  • Coordinate supplier setup in systems and platforms.
  • Implement control frameworks and processes to support satisfactory audits and regulatory compliance. Proactively identify risks and control issues, bring the appropriate resources together, and drive the design and implementation of solutions, decision making, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Global Trade front office and middle office stakeholders across all regions to implement and iteratively improve supplier impacting processes and actively contribute to SCF project initiatives.
  • Collaborating in a team environment, contributing to the overall goals of the firm.
  • Clearly communicating in written and oral forms including presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree University degree with 3-5 years (Analyst) and 5+ years (Associate) of experience in the client implementation, middle or back office functions or equivalent experience in legal documentation, project management & system implementation activities.
  • Experience in Trade Finance and Supply Chain finance will be added advantage.
  • Strong desire to learn all aspects of trade and supply chain finance products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate and interact effectively with people at all levels
  • Self-motivated & confident decision-maker with the ability to demonstrate leadership, challenging and influencing change where necessary
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being able to effectively work in a team environment and partner with colleagues globally
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude
  • Must have the ability to work efficiently across the organization, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail required
  • Technological orientation with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
