Job Description

• Understand current market and help in consistent growth in new customer acquisition, market penetration and month on month growth in new business.
• Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries or leads generated from inbound, telemarketing and other means of leads generation.
• Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
• Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
• Moving solid leads through the sales funnel, collecting requirements, coordinating with pre-sales team to arrange demos and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.
• Following-up with potential customers who expressed interest for demos, queries and move them through the funnel by successfully responding to their expectations
• Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
• Collaborating with pre-sales / lead generation executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
• Review their own performance and able to take corrective action. Work with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Regularly generate leads by going to the market, tele-calling, personal contacts so that the sales funnel is full all the times and you are able to meet your target
• Update CRM and others tools with information and maintain hygiene of the tools for quality reporting and analysis
• Strong negotiation and objection handling skills with ethical practices and factual representation of company information
• Coordinate with other teams like delivery, pre-sales and support to get customer queries resolved on time
• Ensure all outstanding collections are done on time
• Develop more upsell and cross sell opportunities by interacting with existing customers regularly
Business Development Manager Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software / solution sales with track record of achieving quota sales specifically in retail supply chain domain
• Experience in software / solution sales with software partner network will be accepted
• Strong communication, interpersonal, team working, and customer service skills.
• Good time management and analytical skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
