The IT Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:
• This is an independent contributor role working in a dynamic team to lead the business requirements for technical implementation working closely with Product Owner
• Candidate would be involved in development of elaborated requirements in tandem with business and develop User-stories or FRD (Functional Requirement Design) documents
• Strong experience in validating testing and have quality product at early stage of lifecycle
• Work with partner systems to capture interfacing requirements at granular levels
• Regular interaction with business and operations
• Strong experience in Corporate/Retail Banking with understanding on Balance sheets / PnL
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
• Person with overall 8-12 years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance is preferred
• Strong domain experience in Corporate Banking/Trades
Well versed with SDLC life cycle having exposure to various Phases
• Strong experience working with BDD tools –Cucumber/JBehave and hands-on
• E2E experience from writing feature files to executed test cases
Good to have Datawarehouse exposure
Education:
• Min. 4-6 years of working experience as BA in Corporate / Retail Banking domain
• Good to have Strong expertise in SQL
• Good working knowledge on testing business requirements and working with developer/tester hand-in-hand for quality deliverables
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
• Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement
• Proactive problem-solver
• Relationship builder and a very good team player
• Good analytical and business skills
