Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world's largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the WPB team.
Principal Responsibilities
  • The role holder will collaborate with Senior Manager RBWM Analytics and RBWM IM to determine and prioritize immediate analytical requirements, and anticipate future RBWM analytical needs, performing complex research and analysis and developing hypotheses concerning customer and competitor behaviour utilizing quantitative and qualitative research methods to test hypotheses. Will also develop analytical models to assess the impact of changes to campaigns, pricing, product features, and value propositions on marketing programs.
  • The role holder is accountable for driving and executing analytics initiatives to deliver implementation of Regional and Local analytics COE's goal and roadmap. Specifically, the key focus will be to deliver leads/ contact management and revenue target associated with.
  • He/ She will be responsible for assisting in leading and coordinating the development and deployment of new analytical capabilities as well as managing and training the analytical talent pool in INM.
  • The role holder will work jointly with CVM propositions and product heads and with inputs from stakeholders to identify customer needs across customer segments and develop a suite of analytics leads/ contact initiatives that address customer needs and are competitive from a market standpoint. The role holder will collaborate with channel leadership in S&D, contact centers, digital as applicable for the leads programs to drive effective activity management delivering impact of the programs.
  • The role holder will generate business profitability and grow market share by supporting CVM strategies with best practice and industrial implementation of analytical enablers, maximize business opportunities and increase the value of customer relationships via the development of standardized customer segmentation models and triggers for each RBWM business according to the characteristics and needs of the market.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience:
  • At least 4-8 years experience in analytics in the financial/banking sector
  • Masters degree in a relevant business discipline preferred
  • Extensive skills in strategy development, marketing, quantitative analysis, product profitability modelling and financial analysis, across multiple financial product categories and customer segments, Agile Working, Product Owner, Sprint Planning, Scrum Master
  • Technical knowledge of customer segmentation, model building, portfolio analytics, data mining development and applications, and market/industry reviews for strategy formulation Excellent strategic and creative 'out of the box' thinking capacity
  • Development and execution of customer analytics strategies with ML techniques preferred
  • Strong structured thinking, problem solving and communication skills
  • Experienced in customer lifecycle management
  • Experience in Campaign Management

Skills and Abilities:
  • Technical skills - Python, R, SAS, SQL, JIRA
  • Highly numerate and financially literate
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Must have the potential for further development personally and professionally
  • Excellent relationship building and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment
  • Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner
