Job Description

Position Title: Asstt. Manager Sales / Marketing – Instrumentation
Reports To: Sr. Manager
Number of subordinates: Nil to start with
1. Primary objective of this job:
Responsible for
1. Marketing / Sales of Yokogawa Instruments
2. Execution of the Orders received
3. Collection of Payments
4. Business Development
2. Key Results and Activities:
Result (a) Activities/Duties
Achieve Annual budget Preparation of Annual Budget / Business plan
Regular visit to customers / Projects and generate Business opportunities / Enquiries.
Submitting Proposals / Price negotiation/attend technical queries with Customer / YMA.
Direct Customer interaction at various levels, for discussion & business meetings. Order closing / executing / collection of receivables.
Result (b) Activities
Business Development
Sustaining relations with existing Principals and developing new Principal / product lines
Implementing Strategies and expanding customer base.
Conducting seminars/presentations on new products to customers.
Should have right attitude, total sense of loyalty and ownership for the whole assignment
Results (c) Activities
Communication Should be able to handle verbal and written communication with good command over English.
Regular interaction with in Company, Customers ,Principals and Vendors
Initiative and Pro-activeness
Results (d) Activities
Order execution Coordination with Logistics / Warehouse/Accounts for after Sales Activities.
Familiarization with ERP.
Payment / Credit lines follow ups.

Internal Stakeholders:
a. Sr. Manager – Dvn Reports to him – Daily activities –preparation of reports
b. Colleagues Able to build relationship with in Division and cross functional with in Company
External Stakeholders:
c. Manufacturer / Principals Quotations / Commercial/Technical queries – order follow ups – promotions –BD activities along with Dy. Mgr.
Development of New Principal / Product lines
d. Customers At various levels
4. Key Competencies (Categorize them into levels; Awareness, Knowledge, Skills, Mastery):
Knowledgeable in ERP
Capability to learn using ERP
Good Knowledge of Computer Excel, word& power point programs
Reporting MIS to Management
6. Educational Qualifications:
Specific Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engg.
Specific certifications or licenses Requirements:
Oman / UAE driving license.
Years of Experience Minimum of 10 to 12 years in Sales / Marketing Electronics and Instrumentation products such as Transmitters / Analyzers / Flow Meters / Gauges etc
7. Preferences:
Preferences are given to candidates with:
a. Male
b. Post Graduate in Sales / Marketing or Business Management
c. Experienced in Oman/GCC in a trading set up.
d. Age between 30 to 40 years, Pleasant Personality & Good health and a flair to do field jobs
e. Able to join quickly
