This is an Associate Project Engineer role, reporting to Engineering Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based out of Peenya, Bangalore India. You will be primarily responsible for designing, testing, installation, and commissioning phases of projects, enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.Your responsibilities
  • Making technical recommendations in design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases of projects, enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service in the field of RTU, PLC, SCADA and Safety systems.
  • Maintaining a strong network of engineering professionals, sharing engineering best practice across different projects and disciplines to support the development of other colleagues.
  • Developing, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Interacting with vendors for evaluating their technical offers & support SCM during finalization of vendors.
  • Coordinating with service contractor engineers while executing the project, for meeting the required scope in target period.
Your background
  • B.E/B. Tech in Instrumentation or Electronics.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in engineering and commissioning of RTU, PLC, SCADA & Safety Systems.
  • Working knowledge on interfaces (Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, DNP3.0, IEC104 etc.)
  • Knowledge of networking and configurations of Firewalls, Router/Switches etc would be an added advantage.
  • Should have Good communication skills.
  • Preferable experience in Oil / Gas/ Petrochemical plant projects.
  • Experience in product pipeline automation projects.
  • Functional Safety certification from TUV would be an advantage.
