The Role Responsibilities
Support the Head FCC Controls Surveillance Excellence in managing the FCSO Assess-Analyse-Act processes, including supporting the delegated Group Process Owner for four FCC First Line Processes: Assess-Analyse (AA) Name Screening, AA Transaction Screening, AA Transaction Monitoring, and FCSO Country Act.
Organisational Development

  • Support the development, evolution and maintenance of the Target Operation Model (TOM) for FCSO and (country) team structure/capacity plans in line with the TOM and future demands, building an agile organisation

  • Maintain relevant manuals and DOIs as pertaining to FCSU and In-Country FCSO processes (AAA).

  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to quality and efficiency, supported by the Case Excellence team, FCSO Regional Heads and the FCSO Function Heads.


People & Talent

  • Support FCSO Regional Heads to maintain the FCSO training and development plan and In-Country FCSO processes (AA+) and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks

  • Work with the team to maintain appropriate tone and expectations and work in collaboration with risk and control partners


Governance

  • Support audit / assurance queries and responses

  • Deeper dive / manage some audit / assurance and ORA reviews from FCSO Surveillance Excellence perspective as requested by Head, FCSO Surveillance Excellence


RCSA/ ORA

  • Support RCSA process for AA+

  • Support and setup new controls as new risks are identified

  • Review RRA controls and thresholds on an ongoing basis to ensure they are useful and relevant

  • Highlight and bring to Surveillance Excellence team attention to controls which is trending Amber to address the area of risk.

  • Drive standardization of RRA controls across the AA+ processes

  • Support and ensure ORA/ RCSA process is documented as appropriate

  • Support and ensure process is setup correctly in the OR system

  • Support and be point of contact and manage communications as appropriate

  • Regular review of MIS via MSTR reports to identify &ldquohot spots&rdquo in the AA+ processes

  • Support Process Lead in action plans to establish low/medium risk positions and stimulate development of predictive controls.


AAA Processes

  • Support Head, FCSO Surveillance Excellence as required to ensure AA+ processes are aligned and embedded in countries/FCSO

  • Provide updates to and escalate matters to the Head, FCC Controls Surveillance Excellence

  • Raise and track risks as they arise. Work with Process Leads to solution and resolve the risks. Where risks cannot the resolved, create and embed controls in the AAA process to mitigate the risks.


Key Stakeholders

  • Proactively engage with FCSO stakeholders on a regular basis, in supporting any queries that are raised regarding controls and governance

  • Work bilaterally with the relevant teams to ensure controls and enquiries are submitted sufficiently


Leadership & Management

  • No management of staff.

  • Provide support to colleagues involved in Surveillance Excellence

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
