The Role Responsibilities:
Strategy

  • Manage all Fee Income associated with Savings account portfolio

  • Analyse Trends, opportunity and leakage on fee lines and action accordingly

  • Responsible for driving Locker Product

  • Driving online DIY channel for Savings account products &ndash Run it like an independent channel and enhance potential. To scale up this channel exponentially.

  • Drive digital adoption of Lockers, Savings accounts and Term Deposits


Business

  • Fee Line delivery of USD 5 Million in 2021

  • Drive locker sales through Branch and Phone Banking, run marketing campaigns to increase product visibility

  • Ensure smooth recovery of annual charges on Safe Deposit Locker

  • Design and manage ETB & NTB campaigns to acquire SA clients across internal and external media platforms

  • Technology: Assist in RTOB journey enhancements across Deposit products

  • Develop, launch and manage sale of SA accounts through alternate channels like CCC, Mortgages, BB

  • Publish Term Deposit rates

  • Handle competition Benchmarking for Deposit products

  • Own and Manage all MIDs and SOSCs pertaining to Deposit products


Processes

  • Ensure timely levy of all service charges by overseeing monthly charging process and coordinating with multiple stakeholders

  • Handle all customer escalations related to service charges levied on savings accounts

  • Assist frontline in onboarding journeys through online as well as offline modes

  • Identify and plug any existing process gaps to ensure smooth functioning &ndash For Deposit Products

  • Digital sales - Establish rigorous management of online lead conversions, including lead flow, lead drop-offs, VKYC completion, and reach out thru central tele callers + acquisition teams.

  • Own and monitor all elements of Deposit products on the Bank&rsquos website &ndash ensure these are constantly updated


Risk Management

  • Own and Mitigate Risk management elements of all associated business and processes

  • Ensure proactive risk analysis and management


Governance

  • Manage all regulatory reporting pertaining to Deposits

  • Represent Product team in all Audit related issues on Service charges.

  • Manage all regulatory submissions related to service charges

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience with experience in Retail Banking and deposit products

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions

  • Ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge to achieve productive solutions

  • Ability to respond effectively to change, managing work in a fast paced matrix environment including across multiple geographies and functions

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive lasting relationships, even in difficult situations, with diverse people spanning internal/external organizations

  • Excellent analytical and logical skills

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
