Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Dev Ops

This role lies with Genpact Corporate IT -Compute Management Division. You will be responsible for supporting corporate Compute operations 24X7 for internal IT. You will be working actively on the operational issues along with internal / external partners to recover the systems failure (proactive/reactive). You will have tremendous opportunities learn in one of the biggest Compute groups in the industry.


. Leading DevOps Life Cycle with Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery
. Designing, building, maintaining, and coordinating an automated build or release from Development to a production environment.
Experience with distributed code versioning tools like GIT, GitHub, Azure Git, Bitbucket
Configuring build or continuous integration tools (Azure Dev ops, Ant, Maven, Shell, PowerShell).

. Understanding of agile, sprints, lean practice in DevOps and handling Agile & project analytics for business functions

. Deep level of experience with Azure Dev ops or VSTS Server

. Should have worked on setting up CI/CD pipelines for different technology stack like .net, java, python, and node js.

. Understand cloud networking and security principle in cloud environment

. Good understand of server administration like IIS, WebLogic & tomcat

. Understanding of authentication and encryption technique

. Understanding of containers and microservices

. Hands on experience working with batch and shell scripts

. Good understand of change management, incident management & release management

. Hands on experience working with toolset related to automated code quality and security scans

. Understanding of Deployment to on-premises server and cloud environment like vms and containers

. Excellent client facing experience and communications skills

. Cloud certification good to have

. Ability to work intuitively, along or as part of a team environment
. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize, plan and multitask work assignments

. Understanding of monitoring tools and dev ops metrics

. Well versed with api, webhooks and how to integrate two tool.

. Proactive, collaborative, and responsive

. Graduate in Technology (any stream)

Preferred qualifications

. Understanding and proven expertise of DevOps & Scripting language
