Legal Department
The Legal Department of JPMorgan Chase & Co is responsible for the provision of legal services to the Corporation and is organized by practice groups that generally align with the Corporation’s lines of business and corporate staff areas. This structure encourages legal teams and businesses and staff areas to discuss legal, regulatory and business developments effectively and in a timely manner.
Office of the General Counsel (OGC) supports the Legal department's delivery of legal services through an application of Legal and other professional disciplines. The candidate will be a member of the Business and Information Solutions team within the Office of Legal Obligations and lead a local team of analysts supporting operations, project management, data quality and other ad-hoc projects.
About the Office of Legal Obligations
The Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) is a firmwide program responsible for developing and executing a sustainable infrastructure and process that (i) documents JPMorgan Chase’s Obligations arising from material laws, rules and regulatory requirements and (ii) connects the Obligations to policies, when applicable, as well as to procedures or other documentation that support compliance with those laws, rules and regulatory requirements.
Position Responsibilities Include
  • Concurrent participation in multiple initiatives supporting the project management function of a global Legal department initiative.
  • Partner with Buenos Aires colleagues to support follow the sun operations.
  • Serving as an operational stakeholder, ensuring business continuity in client service model.
  • Perform daily and weekly operational processes in support of a global legal initiative.
  • Prepare metrics on project specific progress, risks and issues to the Strategic Teams, Technology and other stakeholders via regular meetings and communications; work to resolve all issues and manage implementation risk.
  • Demonstrate a controls-based mindset.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by harvesting lessons learned and identifying reuse opportunities.
  • As a member of our BIS team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals.
  • Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll sharpen your understanding of business processes and data analysis, while continuing to develop your leadership, management, and communication skills.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data, operations, financial services;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on multiple projects/assignments;
  • Competency in the use of technology, shared databases and other workflow tools (e.g., SharePoint, Signavio);
  • Knowledge of data visualization and BI-Tools Tableau, Alteryx, QlickView & Xceptor will be a plus;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to be flexible with work assignments and handle challenging situations tactfully;
  • Creating complex metrics reports or related experience;
  • Advanced PC skills including PowerPoint, Visio and Excel;
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills;
  • Data driven analytics experience strongly preferred;
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues timely and appropriately;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within tight deadlines.
