Job Description's : The Job involves working with a highly talented team of Avionics engineers, who are working together to make the Avionics of the future. The Job involves design, development of highly completex Avionics software on an integrated platform. The SW has to be integrated in a highly configurable manner with highest level of quality , agility and efficiency.

•Thorough understanding and working experience on Avionics functions & applications like Flight Management Systems, Displays, Communication Navigation Surveillance, Flight controls, Data link communication, Aircraft maintenance, Avionics Data Gateway etc.
•Thorough understanding and expertise on Avionics architecture (HW and Software), Product line architecture
•Understanding and working knowledge on one or more Avionics standards and protocols A661, A664/A429/A717, Time-Triggered Ethernet standard (AS602).
•Avionics technologies like touch screen and interfacing with handheld devices
•Hands on experience working and troubleshooting on HW platforms, avionics benches & desktop environment.
•Good understanding and working knowledge of AGILE tools like JIRA & NGDOORS, RQM
•Understanding about Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC, NXP i.MX8
•Experience working in an AGILE setup - SAFe
•Owner of technical content, Ownership of quality and deliverables of the team
•Architect (a.k.a. design-authority) for the team.
•Ownership of estimates in terms of work scope, technical approaches, assumptions, risks and opportunities. Reviews effort estimation
•Co-own strategies and improvement initiatives for the team
•Review program level documents (DTS, ICD, SCD, TRB) and pass on information to next level.
•Driving innovation, creating growth ideas relevant to global & local markets, products and initiatives.
•Role model behavior in leadership, communication, teaming /Collaboration and all other aspects to be a great team.
•Right balance between Systems and SW intensive focus, as required for the role.
•The role demonstrates thought leadership across Honeywell in one or more technical disciplines and takes ownership for identification of technical talent and coaching cross functional teams.
•Aptitude to independently explore technologies, conceptualize and propose solutions and execute development of new products
•Seeking proactive feedback for continuous improvement and Build relationships and collaborating with business partners and stakeholders
•BE/B. Tech or M.E/M. Tech with 9+ years of Experience in system & software designing and DO178B certification experience. (Avionics background, Knowledge and experience on DO-178B/C, Aero Process is required)
•Should have hands on software design & implementation experience, knowledge of product development life cycle including design for testability.
•Should have deep sense of understanding of Aircraft and Avionics domain and appreciation to developing domain knowledge.
•Keen and aware of the Avionics business and acts with alacrity
•Excellent focus on execution, should ensure responsiveness to customers, team and management
•Must be an innovative and integrative thinker quick to visualize solutions and generate ideas
•A good technical leader, quick to identify people problems, fosters teamwork and ensures transparency and fairness in all actions.
•Advanced knowledge of systems development lifecycle
•Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
