Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
Prepare tax returns and advise management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability. It also ensures that the company complies with periodic tax payment, information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements.
Develop procedures and control the annual budget process.
Responsible for reconciling all capital spending.
Involved in the aspects of the monthly closing process, including completion of account analysis, bank reconciliations, and several other aspects during the closing process.
Ensure all internal control procedures are being followed.
Review monthly expenses and ensure all necessary accruals are recorded.
Assist with monthly budgeting and forecasting.
Handle all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and reconciliations.
Reconcile core business operations reports with 3rd-party payments and reports.
Assist with audits.
Prepare financial statements.
Perform routine administrative tasks as required.
Prepare daily and weekly accounting and cash reports.
Monthly account and variance analysis.
Monthly payroll processing.
Special projects or other duties as assigned.
Would be added advantage if you have got the following:-
Significant accounting and financial analysis experience from a leading high growth firm; advanced operational experience preferred.
Superior analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate & influence with a senior management team.
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment to lead and drive complex initiatives; experience leading teams preferred. Some travel may be required.
Soundtrack record in successfully managing and mentoring teams.
