Job Description

Location-Pune Hinjewadi

Experience- 6+ years

Shift- UK Shift (plus on call during weekend if required)

 Must have 6+ years hands-on/technical knowledge in installation and administration of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2012

 Perform administrative tasks from the System Center Operation Manager console

 Provide application support for the SCOM platform and create and maintain monitoring and notification rules

 Perform application health check monthly post server patching

 Review and update SCOM console security, apply patches, create SCOM console roles and reviews, and create and install custom Management Packs (MP) as needed

 Deliver SCOM views via Remote Desktop Web Access, create custom reports on results of SCOM monitoring, use SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) technologies, and provide problem resolution for SCOM components and related custom scripts

 Work with project managers and peers to understand and solve challenging technical problems, produce effort estimates, and improve system functionality and reliability

 Implementation of custom monitoring rules for in-house applications and customs overrides

 Automation of SCOM agent deployment, Health check and recovery

 Development of custom dashboard using SRS

 Knowledge of data backup, replication, and encryption technologies

 Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies

 Knowledge of HP Hardware preferred

 Working knowledge of integration of SCOM with other tools

 Conceptual & practical knowledge on Event correlation, suppression, business/application service view

 Respond to emergency issues, root cause analysis & implementation of preventive measures

 Good interpersonal skills and English verbal written communication skills.

 Proactive, working with operation team & Customer front-ending is must
