JOB Description 

ROLE PURPOSE :

To help Production Foreman in planning, execution and monitor production related activities.

To assist efficient utilization of work force on the Shop Floor

Efficient use of existing machinery and their up gradation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB :

To do Production planning of all ongoing jobs.

Maintain timely execution of the jobs as per production plan.

Help distribution of activities for Efficient use of manpower and machinery

Prepare Instructions slips for various activities of ongoing jobs.

Prepare all documents as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

SUPPORT FUNCTIONS :

To assist in quality related activities in absence of quality engineers.

To arrange for sub contracting of jobs

To evaluate training needs of workers.

COMPETENCE DESIRED FOR THE JOB :

Thorough knowledge on fabrication activities and production processes

To be able to distribute and supervise work

Co-ordination with quality and dispatch departments

Knowledge of machinery functions and their maintenance

To be able to read fabrication and general arrangement drawings
