Position: Workday Financial Systems Administrator
Summary: This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our Workday financial system.
Position Responsibilities:
? Create and execute on projects involving complex installations, upgrades and modernization of financial systems
? Respond to requests related to complex financial systems
? Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner with minimal oversight; apply extensive experience and best practice knowledge in problem resolution
? Performs more complex financial systems maintenance
? Compose internal documentation with minimal oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configurations
? Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies; remain current on best practices and market trends
? Identify need for new technology purchases
? Identify need to implement additional functionality to current systems
? Participate and assist in the testing of Workday releases
? Assist with the creation of proposals on technical specifications and requirements for purchasing of new financial systems
? Provide guidance to other team members
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree
? Significant experience as a Workday Financials systems administrator
? Experience with accounting or financial reporting
? Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.)
? Excellent customer service orientation
? Attentive to detail, as demonstrated by regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure accuracy
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
? Demonstrated ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct documentation
? Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion
? Excellent collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
? Excellent English skills both verbal and written
? Up to 10% travel time required
