Job Designation: Associate Analyst- Knowledge Services

Job Role: VBA Developer

Job Location: Hinjewadi-Phase-2, Pune

Shift: General/Day Shift

Job Purpose:

This role will be responsible for automation and delivery of Reporting services as part of a Shared Services team to large multinational clients. Key tasks include:

Timely & error-free delivery of assigned reports, quick response to client queries

Automation of reports using VBA macro and advanced excel

Execute Change requests for reports being delivered

Assess reports for improvement opportunities and/or execute improvement ideas

Responsibilities & Activities Description:

• Participate in business requirements discussions with the different operations teams

• Experience in interacting with business users, self-starter ready to work with minimal inputs

• Ability to design Excel applications that interact robustly with users

• Develop & maintain Dashboards using Advanced excel (Formula and charts)

• VBA (Visual Basics for Applications) - Develop and maintain Excel macros, Excel/Access-based, VB Script apps, web based macro and mainframe automation

• Provide feasibility analysis for projects undertaken

• Document requirements post completion of projects

• Provide support to end users once tools are deployed


• Detailed knowledge of VBA / VB Scripts to be able to write modules from scratch, including ability to make user forms, objects and worksheets and all powered by VBA macros

• Ability to write complex SQL queries like join, union, etc.

• Proven record of working on multiple applications integration with excel

• Internet Explorer/Chrome (Browsers)

• MS SQL/Oracle/Teradata (Databases)

• Strong on Excel Charts, Pivots, Slicers, Excel formulae, Dashboard views, Index Match, Vlookup & Hlookup, Offset, named ranges, Nested loops

• Good understanding of client-server architecture

• Good Interpersonal, analytical and written communication skills

• Good Knowledge in RDBMS Access / SQL / Oracle etc.

• Knowledge on Dot-Net would be an added advantage

Work Experience:

• 2-3 years experience in VBA Macros, SQL/Oracle/Teradata

• Experience in Finance & Accounting / Sales & Marketing operations functional domains preferred


Graduate(BE/BCA/BSc), Post Graduate(MCA/MSc)
