UX Expert-Safe & Smart City Platform

Location: Hyderabad

Reports to: Head – Product Engineering

Exp: 3-5 yrs

Responsibilities

● Responsible for end-to-end user experience and user interface of Safe and Smart city platform

● Build reusable code and libraries for future use

● Illustrate design ideas using wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

● Responsible for troubleshooting UI/UX problems

● Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

● Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards

● Document design decisions for consumption by the broader team, as well as key partner teams.

● Stay abreast with new innovations and the latest technology trends and explore ways of leveraging these for improving the product in alignment with the business.

● Work closely with Product Management and AI & Cognitive Computing teams, Domain experts to realize the vision of the platform

Qualifications/Skills

● Experience:

○ B Tech/B.E from top schools like IIT/NIT etc.

○ 3+ years of experience working as UX/UI high performing scalable environment.

○ Define the UI and interaction design of a project from scratch

○ Experience in Web/Mobile Front-End User Experience(UX) and Interface (UI) development using AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS and JS frameworks

○ Up-to-date knowledge of modern HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JS, XML, DHTML, SASS and Node JS

○ Proficient understanding of client - side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

● Preferable:

○ Experience and understanding of government services, Security & Mobility domains

● Must have skills:

○ Experience in developing responsive web/mobile applications that work well across multiple devices.

○ Ability to clearly communicate research and design ideas to the rest of the team and upper management.

○ Ability to quickly learn and work on new technologies and implement POC.

○ Able to come up with various UI designs and architectural thoughts according to UX designs.

○ Highly customer obsessed thinking with a deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations

○ Clear understanding of technology and development, with a hunger to use technology to solve Smart & Safe city problems
