Job Description : SALES EXECUTIVE
Role Duties / Skills Description
Sales Executive Planning / Prospecting / Presenting Identify new potential sectors & business opportunities. Visit Architects, Consultants & New Customers, introduce product line & make presentations. Register the products with consultants. Gather market and customer information. Collect information on customer buying trend & provide feedback internally. Search & appoint dealers at various location to strengthen the sales coverage & network.
Customer / Architects / Consultants Visits Regularly visit the potential old & new customers for generating PR & for followup for new business. Understand customers requirements & provide customer all techinical / commercial information. Demonstrate how our products exceeds competitors product. Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance. Conduct survey / research activity and identify new opportunities. Identify product improvements & provide feedback on new product developments, the industry trends, competitors activities.
Coordinate Submit quotes / technical information to the customer in time. Timely followup with the customer. Be swift in responding to the customers queries / complaints. Convert enquiry into order. Prepare the internal SO's inline to the quote & PO's & handover the PO to planning department. Arrange teachnical team site visits for measurements / site inspection. Will have to travel for business as per companies requirements whenever required.
Be a link Have an excellent rapot with the customer. Be a good listner. Present appropriate soltution to the customer. Maintain good healthy relations with the customer.
Be Creative Think out of Box. Conduct self market survey by conducting cold calling on regular basis, refer news papers for new leads, contact Architects & Consultants, visit trade fairs / exhibitions for new leads & opportunity for business. Visit competitors accounts, understand the customer requirement, work over the customer feedback & try to break the competitors accounts. Identify & work on atleast two new projects to ensure growth individually & for the organisation.
Corporate visits Plan meetings / visits of senior management team to key customers
Team Player Be a strong sales individual & a team player too. Should be flexible to adopt change, be cooperative & understanding when in a team. Work jointly with team members for big projects / tenders. Should maintain good understanding, good healthy communication with other departments within the organisation.
Reporting Submit timely reports on visits / call plans, action planned to achieve revenue target, business plan on monthly basis. Maintain & update MIS regularly.
Achieve Target & Review Plan & achieve the revenue target set by the organisation. Review self Sales Visits / Enquiries / Quotes / Orders in process. Present the same inform of MIS to the management on time to time basis.
Organisational Perform above all duties in line with organisations policies, plans & objectives
