Job Description of AWS Cloud Admin 
The SysOps Administrators traditional job has evolved a lot with the technological advancements. This has not only demanded you to increase your technical skills but also have created new opportunities within the existing job role. The SysOps Administrator today need to be aware of automation technologies as the infrastructure they administrator are programmable. 

Roles and Responsibilities

The AWS SysOps Administrators’ basic responsibilities are to configure AWS Cloud Management and to monitor carefully and manage its services. These are the most important responsibilities and need to be undertaken with high priority and perfection.

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing full AWS Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation and Security.

• Migrating existing on-premise application to AWS.

• Setting up and administering multi-tier computer system environments.

• Configure and fine-tune cloud infrastructure systems.

• Performing software upgrades. Kernel patching, errata patches.

• Develop scripts for automating Cloud/server functions.

• Establish metrics, monitor carefully the utilization of AWS resources by using sophisticated Amazon CloudWatch.

• Perform on-premise resources backup by making use of AWS Services.

• Deploy automation infrastructure by using the AWS Cloud Formation techniques.

• Optimize resources and work on resource tagging to share the cost and plan for budgeting and reporting.

• Create presentations to support Commercial Cloud Services (CS2) overviews.

• Create and manage VPC, CS2 Access point, Bastion hosts.

• Communicate with NISP network team to finalise network connection for clients VPC’s.

• Monitor availability and performance extent

• Monitor effectively billing and cost optimization strategies.

• Manage disaster recovery and create backups.

• Maintain Data Integrity and access control while you use AWS application platform.

Experience: 3+ years

Location: Kolkata (Anyone willing to relocate can also apply)
Compensation: Negotiable (based on current CTC)
