Should have extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of Information Security such as Data Loss Prevention, endpoint security, email security, web security with experience of SYMANTEC DLP(data loss prevention) deployment in Bank’s environment and also security monitoring.
Data Loss Prevention suite 14.6 Symantec DLP Product - Implementation and deployment. Work with data owners of different business functions to ensure solutions implemented for data loss prevention does not negatively impact the business. Working on policy analysis and fine tuning, which helps in incident reduction by reviewing. DLP events and contribute to refinement of policies leading to reduction of false -positive Events. Responsible to uncover business risk associated with the loss of sensitive data and dynamically lowers that risk through policy based remediation and enforcement of controls. Conducted workshops with different business units to make them understand the importance of DLP solutions in Bank. Contribute to overall DLP process improvements and documentation in specified timelines by actively participating in end to end activities of servers procured for Symantec DLP implementation. Actively participated in identifying FPRs from different teams to perform UAT for different DLP policies specific to business units such as Credit Risk Business Group, Compliance, and Global Trade Service Unit etc. to assist with risk assessment and remediation process of DLP events. Worked on policy analysis, which helped 80% of incident reduction. Contribute to overall DLP process improvements and documentation Represent and contribute to the overall DLP solutions and methodologies. Working with Symantec Support for escalation and troubleshooting if required. Extracting the logs for troubleshooting and identifying the issues related to DLP application. Helped the customer in creating documents related to DLP for audit purpose. Suggest expansions for DLP programs as per business requirements. Honor of receiving various awards & recognitions based on Commendable Performance.
Profound knowledge of RSA applications: Symantec DLP Configured DLP appliances and prepared disaster recovery plans Implement email encryption and work with TLS systems Identifying potential risks , configuring technical rule sets and policies across DLP platforms
Cognitively expert in Symantec applications: Mail Gateways Email Messaging Endpoint Protection Certifications & Trainings :
(ITIL) Certified (10529-763904) Symantec DLP Web console Trained & certified from Symantec team.
