Job Description

We are hiring for various MNCs for Bangalore Location.

Mode of Hire: C2H
Job title: Desktop Support Engineer.

Job Description:

a) Good knowledge on Windows 2000, WinXP, Windows Server Experience in Providing technical Support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware Knowledge of Antivirus Symantec, Norton, CA e-trust etc personal computer software Microsoft Office Suite 03-07.
b) Knowledge of creating implementing software imaging through Symantec Ghost.
c) Knowledge of Escalation procedures to appropriate individual based on established guidelines and procedures Create Knowledge Base Articles / Technical Notes Conduct user training on various technical issues when needed.
d) Maintains all workstation hardware and software in accordance with company’s standard guidelines to ensure optimum performance
e) Comprehensive knowledge of desktop laptop PC hardware, maintaining other computer peripheral devices such as printers, End-User Devices PDAs, Smart Phones, Blackberry devices.
f) Troubleshooting -LAN, MAN, WAN.
g) Outlook Configuration.
h) Disk Management.
i) Patch Management & Imaging.
j) Monitoring
k) Performance Tuning
m) Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management
n) IT Service Management, Service Desk.
