Sales Officer

POSITION PURPOSE
Primary purpose of the position
  • Manage Sales and Distribution of the product
  • Contribute in generating revenue for the company


PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main responsibilities/ Principal duty

Key responsibilities:
  • Handling channelsales [Primary & Secondary distribution]profile for FMCG
  • Visiting retail outlets
  • Taking orders
  • Giving products as per the order
  • Merchandising
  • Developing market for company's products


ENVIRONMENT
What internal/external factors(competition/government controls/market locations etc) affect achievement of the position accountabilities

SKILL REQUIREMENTS/ BEHAVIOURIAL TRAITS
  • Fluent Communication in Hindi/Vernacular Language
  • Basic understanding of English
  • Knowledge of coverage and steps of sales call
  • Disciplined


EDUCATION / EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
  • Graduate preferred
  • 3-4 years as front line in any FMCG company (Biscuits and Snacks companies preferred)
  • Off rolls/Distributor rolls is acceptable
  • General Trade Channel only


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND / OR SKILLS
  • Channel Sales
  • General Trade experience is must

OTHER REQUIREMENTS ( If any)
  • Presentable and smart with cheerful disposition
  • At least 2 to 3 years experience in FMCG
  • Geographical knowledge and understanding of trade.
  • Relation in market shall be a bonus.
  • Maturity to lead and motivate the team.
  • Enable enough to basic calculation like margins, schemes etc.
  • Basic computer knowledge for bizom reporting
