Overview of role
Working within the Test Team in ITS Projects to carry out test scripting and execution activities specifically on the SAPsolution. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining the SAP regression test scripts for all modules and executing these for all releases and changes made to SAP. This role will be required to conduct integration testing (functional and non-functional) and feel comfortable coordinating acceptance testing with users and operational teams as required. As the SAP Test Analyst you will be working closely with the wider SAP team which includes developers, module owners, support team resources, SMEs and Test Manager to ensure all test activities are conducted in line with the Test Management Framework.

Section 2: Main Accountabilities

SAP Test Execution 90%
•Developing test scenarios following a risk-based approach. Theses should be created from discussions with key stakeholders, requirements documentation, solution design, high level test plan, business process maps and other project documentation
•Supporting ensuring that all technical preparations have been completed prior to commencing test activities i.e. test environments stable and ready for use, entry criteria met, test accounts set-up, access devices ready for testing
•Ensuring that SAP test scripts are maintained and managed within Test Toolset
•Executing test scenarios and managing results spanning: integration testing (functional, non-functional) and regression testing
•SupportingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as required
•Supporting Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) as required
•Supporting reporting on progress of test activities and against entry & exit criterion
•Supporting requirements traceability and demonstrating test progress against this
•Using a combination of existing automated (UFT) and manual test scripts to test the installation and basic functionality of the application
•Conducting full analysis of the results returned and handing over any defects which, upon review, are found to be valid.
•Identifying and raising defects against solutions
•Adherence to the overarching Test team strategy, process & test methodologies
•Maintenance of the SAP regression test packs; ensuring that any changes made are updated to these test scripts
•Ensuring that SAP regression test scripts can be used by team when changes are applied to the desktop and IT estate. This may involve supporting other testers during this
Continual improvement & innovation 10%
•Assisting with the integration of new team members to ensure they adhere to Deloitte testing standards
•Continuing to learn and improve understanding of SAP solution, integration points and modules
•Supporting the development of the test team by leading an internal focus area. This may be along the lines of: running & maintaining internal lessons learnt or risk discussions; evaluating future test trends and presenting to the team; identifying and owning continual improvement opportunities within the team; testing and trialling new test toolsets.

Section 3: Skills/qualifications/experience

Must have:
•1 years’ Test Analyst or more experience
•Some depth knowledge of test toolsets such as HP QTP/UFT and HP ALM/Quality Center
•At least 2 years’ experience working SAP. Specific modules include:
•SAP FiCO
•SAP SD/PS
•SAP HCM (Human Resource)
•SAP CRM
•Strong knowledge & use of Test Methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall
•A professional and confident style, with drive & enthusiasm and with a strong ability to multi-task.
•Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with team members
•Ability to build good relationships & conduct effective technical discussions with clients, peers and senior staff.
•ISEB Software Testing Foundation level certification
•Experience working with team members in offshore and near shore locations
•Experience in working as a service management professional
•A thorough knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems and core Office 2013 and/or 2016 suite
•Strong verbal communication skills and strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong problem solving skills
Nice to have:
•ITIL Foundation level certification
•Higher qualifications than Foundation in ISEB Software Testing(or equivalent)
•Test automation development experience
