Informatica is expanding at a rapid rate within key markets in Asia Pacific and India in particular. This is an exciting time to join the organization as we strengthen our leadership position in Data Integration and Data Quality and quickly grow our business into hot technology areas such as Cloud, Big Data and Analytics. The Territory Sales manager role will be based in Delhi.

Your Opportunity
Due to our relentless growth and continuing success, we are looking for experienced Territory Sales Managers with a successful track record of selling enterprise software solutions to large organizations in major verticals across your region. You will be responsible for the commercial relationship and sales strategy with these accounts. A successful candidate will be able to work with a team of sales specialists, product specialists and partners. Successful candidates will be comfortable talking to C-Level business people about business problems and will have a track record of closing large transactions in enterprise level accounts. 
In this role you will effectively collaborate with other teams, including presales, professional services, marketing, alliance management, finance and customer support, as well as external parties and alliance partners.

Your Responsibilities

You will lead the Territory planning process for your region and drive business development and go-to market activities within your accounts to achieve annual revenue targets. You will take full responsibility for accurate forecasting, revenue delivery and coordinating the virtual account teams.

In addition you will;
- Meet and exceed sales revenue targets
- Develop and execute a territory plan
- Match the benefits of Informatica’s solutions to the business requirements of the customer
- Understand organizational structures and decision making processes in every account
- Present our value proposition to customers, using strategic partners where required
- Work with the marketing organization to develop plans for your region, publicize success stories and enhance the Informatica brand.

Your Qualifications:
Post Graduate or equivalent educational background
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated successful high-tech sales experience including sales of complex technical products
  • Have knowledge of Data Warehousing, Database and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
  • Significant experience in CXO level negotiations.
  • Experience of structured sales techniques spanning the entire sales cycle i.e. identification and qualification of opportunities, business development, order fulfillment etc.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to promote and sell the business benefits of Informatica rather than features and functions
  • Target driven, possessing passion and a commitment to exceed sales targets
