As a client experiences lead, you will
Engineer solid responsive user interfaces using languages like Angular, React, Javascript etc.
Own quality and functionality of your code from concept to production; Ensure customer experience post production is worthy of the Cisco brand
Define, design and deploy software that surpasses our customer's expectations and business unit's commercial objectives - Drive design and code review standards that will make this possible
Define and provide APIs and messaging endpoints for other teams to depend on for engaging with your services; Provide reliable means of versioning and maintaining these services to enable independent and parallel development between teams.
Work with architect to create a technical vision for UI/UX
Create and maintain automated tools that validates your interfaces and UI performance with different browsers
Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines that can be used to drive quality and consistency throughout the full software lifecycle
Actively teach, mentor, and coach fellow engineers throughout the organization about design and development best practices and patterns
Evangelize your team's work to stakeholders and customers far and wide incorporate feedback Who Youll Work With

We are looking for an experienced lead who understands and has implemented Client experiences for customer cloud-based products / solutions. Your job will be to create cloud-native, solid, responsive user interfaces. This will involve collaborating with other engineering teams at Cisco, determining the right technical approach to achieve the system's goals, and contributing to the development of the solution. The ideal candidate will have the drive and desire to solve real problems for customers, the architectural perspective to make the right technical decisions, and the entrepreneurial spirit to personally code key components.
You will work with Architects and Engineers at all levels inside and outside of your immediate team - collaborating with whoever necessary to deliver customer value.
You will work with Product and Engineering management and contribute to the formation of a product roadmap and technology strategy for your immediate team and the organization at large.
You will work with Customer Success and Technical Assistance teams to support customer issues with top priority.
You will work with the broader Cisco engineering peers in sharing and promoting best practices to up-level Cisco engineering excellence and reputation. Who You Are
  • You have 10+ years expertise in building UI applications and 6+ years mastery in Javascript/NodeJS/Angular/React.
  • You have a 10+ years proven expertise in programming, preferably, Java.
  • You possess top-notch visual aesthetics and have an online portfolio that reflects it.
  • You keep abreast with the latest trends and technologies in design and UI.
  • You are highly skilled in building beautiful, practical and user-friendly interfaces and you have credentials to prove that.
  • You are obsessed with the look and feel of application and you have a flair for creativity.
  • You have the experience of designing multiple applications for web enabled and thick clients. You have expertise in building responsive UI that can be rendered from big screens to mobiles.
  • You wear a customer hat while designing interfaces and you are your own strongest critic.
  • You provide well-designed APIs and message sinks for integration points between services; you know the value of API and message-driven data exchange as a means to decouple services and manage inter dependencies in a productive way.
  • You have burnt your fingers on hosting complex third party gadgets into your iframes.
  • You have an incredible eye for details and user experience.
  • You are an addict to problem solving - only the hardest problems will satisfy you. You embrace the challenges of achieving the balance between scalability, consistency, and availability within a low latency, real-time operating environment.
  • You can passionately turn a grand vision into a distinct reality.
  • You are an excellent translator and communicator between the users and the programmers.
  • You have a strong exposure to any database and optimization of queries to fine-tune your front-end performance.
  • experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Your understanding of security technology and challenges is a plus.
