Responsibilities / Technical skills: Key Responsibilities: Coordination of request , test and release of imaging in a global environment. Responsibilities would include: managing requests for new images through standard defined processes , development and implementation and improvement of those processes , coordinating and executing change control processes that apply to the deployment of images , communications to customer management and end - users as necessary , tracking and reporting on status and success of all deployments , identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Candidate must be proficient and experienced in coordinating the execution of standard ITIL release management processes for Desktop Image Deployment , User Acceptance Testing and Large Scale deployment coordination via automated distribution tools (SCCM). Must be proficient with Microsoft Deployment toolkit (MDT) and System Center Configuration Manger Operating Deployment (SCCM OSD). Knowledge of PowerShell and VB scripting is beneficial. Knowledge of Microsoft MDT / SCCM best practices is beneficial. Customer interaction and communication skills (written and verbal) are essential to this position. Ability to respond and interact with management stakeholders regarding escalation of customer inquiries.

Working Experience: Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts , practices , and procedures of particular area of specialization. Typically 3 - 7 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience , where applicable.
Education: AS in related discipline or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry Certification may be required in some areas. ITIL , MCP , MCSE , SCCM
Direction of Others: May provide general guidance or train lower level support staff.
Key Working Relationships: Primarily intra - organizational contacts works closely with customer on defining initial requirements.
Job Family Responsibilities: Participates in semi - complex technical assistance for service requests to develop new Windows (7 , 8 , 8.1 , 10) core images or to support the end user client computing environment.. Participates in recommending semi - complex upgrades and / or improvements to standardize the customer image platforms. Supports the day - to - day operations of release and test processes as required for software , security patch deployment and client configuration. Participates in Change Release meeting as required to support the release of approved changes to the client image. Supports the requirement definition , analyzes and writes specifications when required.
