Job Description:

Technical professional with a broad general knowledge of Cisco products, solutions, services, technologies and related programs. Supports partner enablement and growth through execution of technical / sales training, management of technical certifications and support of post-sale services model development. Provides technical guidance as necessary throughout all stages of the sales process.
  • Evaluate current partner's technical readiness relative to Ciscos technical strategy (solutions, product, services, quality of service, reputation) and identify gaps in readiness
  • Promote the technical value and benefits of Cisco solutions
  • Encourage partners to utilize Cisco technology internally and promote development of a sales demo-center at their facility
  • Participate in partner business planning activities by supporting development and execution of the partner Technical Business Plan
  • Assist in current partner capabilities inventory process and help identify gaps
  • Customize and review a Technical Readiness Plan with the PAM and PSEM that includes measurable milestones to track progress
  • Facilitate partner SEs achievement of Cisco and industry certifications
  • Support technical training of partners presales and post sales technical resources. Engage extended team for support in trainings.
  • Support product / solution / services training of the partner sales teams
  • Provide training on articulating Cisco AT value proposition and solution planning and positioning.
  • Assist in the presentation of partner technical seminars, webinars, online training and one-to-many presentations
  • Educate partner on available Cisco Services and professional service resources and tools
  • Participate in measurement of the partners progression against Technical Readiness Plan
  • Utilize Requirements Processes as needed for key features / product requests
  • Oversee partner presales activities (competitive analysis, test plans, demos, proof of concepts, RFPs and network designs)
  • Cross communicate Cisco and partner value propositions, especially between partner and Cisco field SEs
  • Proactively gather insight into strategic / high-value opportunities that the partner is pursuing and communicate with Cisco field team
  • Support partner technical team on key POCs
  • support partners on technical escalations
