Job Description
  • Perform timely procurement of IT Hardware, software and service related items through standard procurement processes and value stream activities.
  • Receive and analyse all Corporate Procurement requests to determine quantity, specifications and delivery requirements.
  • From approved supplier list, recommend and select suppliers relative to procurement requirements.
  • Place order directly with the supplier and accurately record order and tracking details.
  • Expedite deliveries to meet and exceed scheduled critical requirements.
  • Maintain proactive shortage identification and management - help flag root causes and corrective actions.
  • Maintain documents, files and records (e.g., workflow tools, purchase orders, etc.) to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail information for compliance.
  • Providing trend analysis and making recommendations for IT NON IT Procurement process improvements.
  • Prepare a variety of written materials including documenting activities and creating/maintaining standard work documents.
  • Analyze requisition intake data and create accurate and timely purchase requisitions.
  • Monitor purchase requisitions through approval and purchase order creation process.
  • Coordinates the requisitions process, issues purchase orders, contracts and other documents vital to the purchasing function.
  • Maintains contact with vendors, obtains information about new products, evaluates vendor performance, and may conduct inspections of vendors.
  • Periodic Cost benefit analysis on the procurement of goods and services
  • Confers with department managers and employees relative to purchasing procedures, purchasing needs, complaints and special problems.
  • Import and export of goods and STPI duty free clearance etc and STPI compliance related to Import and export of goods , bond register , debonding etc
Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • B.Com with Procurement certification
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in purchasing in IT and ITES
  • Experience working with procurement practices, purchasing regulations, etc.
  • Experience working with contracts including request for proposals (RFP) and request for information (RFI)
  • Experience working with products and services within related market.
  • Good negotiating skills to interact with vendors

  • Ability to understand financial analysis and implications with regard to contracts and suppliers.
  • Prioritize and manage workload effectively
