CAM SENIOR SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEER




We are looking for Senior Application Engineer with experience in Machine Tool Operation and Programming (CNC Machines programming) to join our Technical Support Team in our office in Bangalore.

We are looking for a qualified professional with good and proven experience in CNC Machine operation and programing (manually writing the g-code and/or using CAM software), specially on Milling and Wire EDM technologies or similar, to fulfill the position of Senior Software Support Engineer in our Technical Support Team at our office in Bangalore to provide technical support for our CAM software to our local and international customers.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of work experience in the technical support of CAD/CAM software or technical support of machine tool sector or similar 
  • Experience in team leadership will be highly valued 
  • Mechanical/ Production Engineer (Diploma or Bachelor) title or similar 
  • Proven experience in CNC Milling machine operation and programming 
  • Proven experience in CNC Wire EDM machine operation and programming 
  • Proven experience in the use of CAM software for machine programming 
  • Computer knowledge at user level (use of various softwares including document editors and spreadsheet editors) 
  • CNC Manual programming knowledge and/or experience will be very valued (G-code writing) 
  • CAD software knowledge and/or experience will be valued

Job Description:
  • Attend the local customers and solve the issues and doubts they may have on our CAM software 
  • Lead Support team- technical leadership as well as support center accountability is required 
  • Collaborate with the International Support Team to help them solve international customers issues as per their requests 
  • Collaborate with India Sales Team in the technical side of sales with Demonstrations, Preparing Benchmarks, solving doubts and more as per their needs 
  • Collaborate with the Technical Team to help them create Technical materials such as Tutorials, Help files, Demo videos and more as per their requests 
  • Any other technical tasks that the company may require
