Software Development Engineer in Test(SDET)

Role Description:

The automation engineer will be working with Core Automation Platform and Engineering (CAPE) Team. He / She is responsible for developing new framework related functions and reusable libraries. Senior Automation Engineer should work with multiple product teams and help them in automating and maintain their automation scripts. Manage automation activities and provide status to stakeholders on accessing overall progress and completion. Also responsible for Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.

Knowledge and Technical Skills Required:

* Good experience in core Java development

* Good experience with UI automation using Selenium WebDriver

* Should be proficient in below java concepts:

• Oops concepts

• Arrays & Collections

• File Handling

• Exception

• Debugging the Java application

• Understanding of design patterns

• Constructor

• Use Java API or 3rd Party libraries / jar

* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

* Skill in writing reusable Java libraries

* Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and presentation skills

* Experience with open source QA tools – Selenium, Cucumber, testing

* Design and develop automated testing for all layers of the solution

* Experience with using BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave.

* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment

* Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium

* Good to have knowledge on Maven, GIT and Jenkins

* Should be able to develop framework related functions and reusable libraries.
