Job Description


Job Description:

• The candidate should be an expert with anti-virus and malware protection, application whitelisting, PCI compliance, and desktop hardening procedures. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure desktop engineering initiatives consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage vulnerability scans, evaluate and report on results, provide baseline scans, and acceptance for new devices and products. Must be an expert with Carbon Black and Symantec 12.

• Administer and manage day-to-day security products rules. Respond to security incidents in the desktop environment such as virus and malware removal.

• Work and cooperate with multiple security teams to share information and help create a global view of security status as it pertains to desktops.

• Work with Information Security Groups to improve tracking of our assets via Qualsys, SCCM and Active directory.

• The ability to provide professional input to improve the security of our desktops and to further ensure our ability to recover from incidents.
