Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in thecreation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers� business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers� businesses.
As trusted advisor createand maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
Actively contribute to HP�s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers.
Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expenserelief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Contribute to organization�s profitability by generating andcultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.

Specialist: Applies experienceand subject matter knowledge tosolve common and complexbusiness issues withinestablished guidelines andrecommends appropriatealternatives. Works on problems /projects of diverse complexityand scope. Exercises independentjudgment within generallydefined policies and practices toidentify and select a solution.May act as a team or projectleader providing direction to teamactivities and facilitatesinformation validation and teamdecision-making process.Provides guidance to employeesin lower job levels.

May seekadvice in order to make decisionson complex business issues.5 plus years of professionalexperience and a Bachelor ofArts or Science or equivalentdegree in computer science orrelated area of study without adegree, three additional years ofrelevant professional experience(8 plus years in total).

Tech Req:Installs, integrates and configures customer solutions at the customer's site. Makes any necessary repairs related to defects in products or shipping damage before completing the product install. Implements planned installation activities based on project scoping, detail instructions from project team and/or factory install manuals. Installs operating systems, firmware updates, software patches and software updates to achieve optimum product functionality. Configures system software based on input from account team and/or customer. Supervises third party movers and third party contractors during relocation projects.
