Program Manager Responsibilities
Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Analysing program risks. Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
Working with Program and cross function team to focus on delivering program goals.
Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
Managing and utilizing resources across projects
Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;
Planning the overall program and monitoring the progress as per the Organization NPI process.
Daily program management throughout the program life cycle;
Defining the program governance (controls)
Managing the programs budget;
Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality and team member performance.
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
After successful Pilot, Transfer the New Product to the operation team. Document the learning and critical to success criteria to the Operation team.
Skill and Qualification
The program manager must have strong practical experience in project management, which was gained through managing large and complex projects. He or she must have the following:
Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program;
Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management;
Strong leadership and management skills;
Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and
The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
Minimum 3 + Year Experience in Program or Large Project Management
Post Graduate degree in Business Management or equivalent
Good oral and written communication in English.
High energy with perseverance.
