Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring & controlling and support growth of a large portfolio of application operations managed services.
  • Manage support teams across multiple locations to resolve service delivery incidents and take corrective actions to meet and exceed service delivery goals.
  • Can conduct due diligence and assessment of the current state of business applications, analyse sizing information and suggest optimum service delivery model for new service areas to be brought under managed services.
  • Provide a joined-up view across multiple business applications and ensure risk-free change management.
  • Ensure process compliance across all teams e.g. correct use of Support handover process, effective problem and incident management, continuous service improvements, benefits measurement etc.
  • Ensure effective risks & issues management and quality control
  • Ensure periodic reviews of Knowledge Base for all applications that Zensar holds support accountability.
  • Represent applications operations team in large change programmes and state service introduction and service readiness requirements when new services are implemented
  • Chair weekly and monthly service governance meeting and provide real time updates to client stakeholders regarding major service delivery issues and risks.
  • Identify trends from service delivery metrics and influence decision making of client stakeholders based upon solid data analysis, past experience and future trends.
  • Optimise and calibrate utilisation of support teams across various activities within service delivery
  • Manage escalations and report lessons learnt and ensure that necessary actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence of problems
  • Participate in all major incident meetings and orchestrate multiple service delivery teams for faster resolution
  • Co-champion the continual service improvement initiatives and measure benefits
  • Motivate teams and address concerns in co-ordination with the delivery management team
  • Headcount Validation and Projection of FTE's based on complete analysis of workload
