Job Description
Position : Senior Manager – Manufacturing ( Head Of Department)

Company : Suretex Prophylactics (India) Private Limited

Experience : required : Minimum 15 Years experience

Languages : Kannada Read, Write & Speak, at least should be able to speak Kannada

Good English & Hindi Communication

CTC : 18 Lakhs all inclusive Maximum

Qualification: BSc Chemistry + Any Post Graduate or Any Graduate + MSc in Chemistry

Job Requirements:

1. Should have independently Handled the Manufacturing Operations & all the related processes

2. Should have good Knowledge and experience in TPM, Lean & Six Sigma areas

3. Should have implemented and worked on the processes for the audits like 13485/9001; QMS 9001/14001

4. Must Be an Internal Auditor and also a lead auditor for the mentioned standards

5. Should have worked independently on Finance areas of department Budget, Costing ( product Costing) & CAPEX.

6. Must Have good Union Handling abilities, and should have worked with diverse Union environment

7. Should be from Pharma or similar industry ( Condom/medical device manufacturing)

Job Description :

1. Responsible for NR and PI entire production process at Bangalore Plant and execute the production to meet the monthly production requirement to achieve the production numbers and improve the quality.

2. Manage and coordinate the activities of NR and PI process and coordinating with the internal customer and internal supplier. Deploying the Lean methodology in shop floor to reduce the waste. Motivating the subordinates to get maximum Output even in stretched target. Significant contribution in reducing the product cost.

3. To plan for a safe work environment, provide safety equipment and train the Manpower on safety related matters. Ensure proper housekeeping practices and GMP

4. Running the department with high degree of safety norms which complies to the Company standards. Building a very good safety committee in the department to maintain and improve the safety culture.

5. Implementing the new techniques to reduce the Ammonia level in the department.

6. To get the budgeted efficiencies in the department operations

7. Co-coordinating with HR team and the dipping team to allocate proper human resources to achieve the stretched production targets .Coordinating with Engineering team and maintaining the machines in a good condition

8. Work closely with all Sub Functional teams to improve the condom quality thereby improve the total output.

9. Deliver financial and budget numbers to meet the plant KPI.

10. Responsible and accountable for the increased production requirements

11. Maintaining good quality in all work related matters

12. To reduce the Plant rejection by reducing the Pre ET Rejection. Putting new Ideas and modification to reduce the latex scrap. Analyzing the defects to find out the Root cause, implementing proper corrective action and ensuring that not to be repeat in future

13. Implement Lean methodology in the department.

14. Motivate the team to build good team work, implement kaizen ideas, standard works

15. Lead the projects to reduce the wastes.

16. Leading a project to reduce the Latex waste to improve the latex yield.

17. Coordinate with Dipping and ware house Team to have timely feedback.

18. Managing a complex process which includes various batch s, different viscosity of the latex supplied to Dipping unit.

19. Co-ordination with Manufacturing, HRD, QA departments & warehouse

20. Effectively participate in daily accountability meeting.

21. Chair the meeting every month, conduct the meeting with all department.

22. Training of workforce & motivation, team building

23. Motivating the team members to participate effectively to follow the improvement activity .Rewarding the team members who got very good performance every month. Implementing SPC systems and tools in the department to monitor and control the process

24. Responsible for QSR and ISO Standards
