The position is within the HMI groupin Chennai, which is responsible forCapacitive touch microcontroller product family.
• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE/EEE with 6 to 10 years industry experience in embedded domain
• The candidate should be well versed with Embedded software and hardware systems
• The candidate should be very strong in C programming in an embedded environment
• In-depth work experience with microcontroller peripherals is must have Job Requirements

Essential Skills
• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
• Review code and design
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Use Datasheets, Application notes, PCB Schematic and Layout
• Use Configuration Management tools e.g. SVN and defect tracking tools e.g. JIRA
• Support software QA
Desired Skills
• Experience with Capacitive touch is a Plus
• Knowledge/experience in Atmel Studio and IAR Embedded Workbench IDE and associated toolkits is a Plus
• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Visual Studio, ParaSoft C++Test (Unit Test & Static Analysis tool)
People skills
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work in collaborative group environment
• Be able to reach out to different stakeholders to solve any problem, as situations demand
• Be able to work with multi-site cross-functional teams
• Adhere to standards, guidelines and best practices
• Be able to travel periodically to the UK including extended stays (up to 3 weeks) for training purposes
