Job Description
Responsibilities include implementing more efficiency and better capability for the organizations global businesses support and delivery of products and websites with the goal of maximizing operations and services

This Director will also be responsible for constructing, developing and managing functions of service/system design and transitions

The ideal candidate will come from a dot Com company and will have hands-on and technical infrastructure background, in-depth open-source technology experience and has directly had to deal with crisis management, outages and creating disaster recovery plans

Requirements

Solid hands-on experience in operations across different technologies, processes and disciplines

Significant experience in a leadership role developing, organizing and scaling operations and engineering teams

Experience leading large-scale multi-website operations - Cloud, Hosting, Consumer, SaaS or B2B

Around the clock management experience of teams supporting globally distributed operations and businesses

Experience managing infrastructure, applications/websites administration, data center, network, database and server operations teams

Management experience for an Internet portal, E-commerce website, media site etc is ideal
