Job Title: Senior Business Manager
Reports to: Zonal Business Manager
Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities/ Business Rationale :
Deliver expected sales in specified geographies (all BSN products)
Manage, mentor & coach the team
Build / maintain relationships with Stockists and deliver sales through them
Manage, monitor and develop General Reps
Set high goals for personal and team accomplishment; use measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals; take personal accountability for team performance to meet and exceed
Deliver expected performance and beyond in his geography
Align national sales priorities with geographical needs
Influence key stakeholders (e.g. physicians, KOLs) in line with the sales strategy by planning/ executing marketing activities in the geography
Influence Channel Partners/ Distributors, negotiate terms and help in building a strong channel for distribution of BSN products in smaller hospitals, nursing homes and clinics
Ensure proper use of sales force management systems such as local system- PULSE and Performance Dashboard to drive Key accounts strategy and execution
Ensure that engagement plans across geographies are aligned with brand strategy and that overall execution across geographies is in line with expectations
Coach team members based on individual coaching plan, identify strengths, development areas and corresponding action plans
What kind of relevant knowledge, skill and experience is required for acceptable level of performance in the job
Experience of managing teams
Knowledge of products & market
Ability to build relationships and manage Distributors and Channel partners
Analytical abilities ability to plan and execute plans with the support of team
Preferred Requirements: Relevant to the role, but not critical/essential
Ability to Coach and mentor team
