Job Description:
    The Business Analyst role sits within Finance Operations Transformation focusing on analysis of the end to end Nostro Framework Processes and will help to define a new Target Operating Model, as part of Nostro Remediation Programme.

    The Business Analyst will:

    Engage and collaborate with a wide group of stakeholders, SME's and business partners to understand the business processes, data flows and define functional requirements for Nostros fees management

    Document business requirements including detailed data mapping and transformation logic in consultation with Treasury, Operations and Technology stakeholders

    Support the business in the implementation of the Technology solution for Nostro fees management and work collaboratively with Treasury Markets, Financial Markets, Finance, Treasury Services and Operations teams to ensure the implementation is aligned to their expectations

    Follow a structured approach to project delivery and provide regular risk/ issue updates to the working group

    This role requires strong business analysis skills, sound technology implementation experience, ability to learn and understand the functional areas and data requirements and good interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across multiple locations

    Responsibilities Business Methodology

    To own the process analysis and document/ map the processes around the spectrum of processes across various process areas of Nostro Framework

    Define the governance model and roles & responsibilities for the Treasury Services entity within Global Banking Services

    Define the standard operating process for Treasury Services along with the definition of Operational Risk Framework for the newly enhanced and realigned Treasury Services process universe

    Work across functions and with other stakeholders to manage linkages, dependencies, communication and the impact and deliverables of the Nostro Target Operating Model

    Identification, analysis, and documentation of gaps across multiple existing functional operating models and technology platforms, and ability to contrast current Operating Model vs Target Operating models and work with functional areas to assess impacts

    Perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop appropriate process control changes

    Identify key risk and performance metrics, and ensure that benefits and performance targets of the activities are measured and monitored

    Contribute to the definition of the overall Nostro Target operating model - tailoring together fragmented processes from various process areas

    Develops accurate and complete Process and Procedure manuals, and workflow diagrams. Maintain manual source material in organized manner with revision control and maintains historical records and files of work and revisions in a policy and procedure library

    Follow style standards for Process and Procedure manuals and ensure writing style of documentation is simple, clear, concise, grammatically correct, and written for the intended audience and achieves compliance with the bank's regulatory requirements and performance standards

    Work with various business leaders/ managers/ supervisors to determine specific requirements for the operational processes' implementation and ensure sign-off from stakeholders is obtained in accordance with the pre-agreed and documented requirements

    Meets with assigned stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the business unit's goals and operational procedures

    Communication and Change Management

    Run the working groups for Nostro TOM definition and operational processes implementation with related communications across a broad spectrum of stakeholders done in a timely and concise manner

    Manage the changes in scope in coordination with the project manager without affecting the overall delivery targets

    Skills Must 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within a Bank, financial institution, or relevant IT vendor or relevant banking operations experience of which 4 years in technology deployment

    Experience in creating process and procedure manuals and/ or training documentation

    Confidence to face off to senior business stakeholders (including front office)

    Experience gathering and documenting business & functional requirements

    Strong skills with core Business Analysis toolset and techniques

    Able to design processes at both a conceptual and operational level

    Strong background in client advisory and problem solving, with demonstrable analytical skills

    Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

    Business Process modelling or similar certification (such as Six Sigma, Lean Management, Process reengineering modelling)

    Experience in one or more of the following areas desired: Nostro Management, Liquidity, Reconciliations, Cash Management, Operations
