Seminar and program Coordinator

Program Development

• Manages program/project curriculum, seminars, presentations, learning experiences, social networking, etc. based on goals/objectives.

• Manages academic quality of co-curricular programming and continued growth and expansion.

• Manages speaker selection, communication, and topic development.

• Manages complex scheduling arrangements involving multiple parties and seminar projects

• Builds and maintains relationships across the Public sector and University.

Events

• Coordinates programming, educational, student, alumni, workshops, meetings, etc. including speakers, agendas, etc.

• Project manages large scale and/or complex events and activities including, but not limited to, on boarding and orientation, Partners Weekend, Electives, Global Network Week, Graduation, Executive Speakers, and various other co-curricular activities and events.

• Ensures that all logistics have been completed such as advertising, registration, speakers, international travel arrangements, venues, catering, technology, etc.

Strategic Planning

• Administers & maintains existing strategic plans.

• Participates with area/unit senior staff in the conceptualization, development and presentation of materials used in functional operations.

• Recommends and implements administrative and procedural changes.

Other

• Provides a variety of administrative weekend support for office and classrooms, including but not limited to ensuring facilities are ready, introducing faculty, making in-class announcements, distributing textbooks and course materials.

• Serves as a liaison between administration, facilities, faculty, and Kellogg Information Systems to problem solve any issues that occur over the weekend.

• Provides customer service to students and faculty, addresses any issues professionally and constructively, or pass along to administration.

• Other duties as required.
