Job Summary

This Supply Chain & Order Management (SCOM) with goof understanding on Finance concepts will be responsible for all production support related activities within the HP’s Supply Chain & Order Management Finance SAP application, in a timely and accurate manner, as an independent contributor. As a subject matter and domain and domain expert, provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross functional initiatives spanning across multiple processes or functional areas. The role requires the Analyst to work closely with partnering organizations like Business Teams, Delivery Teams and IT, in ensuring that any / and all applications related issues are addressed in the timely manner and the root cause for the issue is identified and resolved.

Being a subject matter expert in the SC& OM Finance process, and owing to the exposure around multiple Finance processes, additional responsibilities include leading process improvement projects in order to achieve business result across multiple Finance functional areas.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ensure our process standards are followed in managing the production support activities within the SC & OM Finance applications
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to identify the business potential of a given activity.
  • Solves moderately complex, multiple systems problems.
  • Develops risk mitigation and fall back strategies.
  • Troubleshoots current applications and solves minor issues independently.
  • Accountability for on-time delivery.
  • Working along with stakeholders in a smooth way in a virtual environment across the globe.
  • Interacts with internal customers, examining moderately complex issues or concerns to find a solution.
  • Maintain the relationship with our key partners in the business, operations, the other process areas, and IT.
Qualifications and Skills
  • University degree in Business, Finance/Accounting
  • At least 5 to 6 years proven experience in process areas around Supply Chain & Order Management Finance
  • Strong hands on SAP expertise along with the exposure on the SAP S & D Module
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
  • Good level understanding of financial systems and processes around SC & OM
  • Proven track record of working in complex system architecture environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work via the phone with virtual teams in an international environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
