Job Description
JD FOR General MM Consultant:
  • Gather/document functional requirements and translate functional needs into technical solutions
  • Configure, test, support and implement SAP MM solutions 
  • Strong knowledge in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Pricing Procedure, AAD and LIV is mandatory 
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Materials Management fundamentals and needs to have Clear understanding of
  • Procure-to-pay cycle, PO/PR Release Strategy, External Services Management, Contracts, Master Data, Message
  • Output, Price Determination and Special Procurement processes. 
  • Strong knowledge in business requirement gathering, BBP preparation, Initial stock upload, Test Scripts/Case
  • preparation, User manual preparation, Unit testing and Integration testing. 
  • Should have strong cross module functional knowledge between MM-FICO, MM-SD, MM-PP/QM 

  • SAP FICO consultant is mainly responsible for designing, building and deploying SAP-based ERP solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, often in close cooperation with the client’s finance team;
  • Conducting structured testing internally and with users; Ensuring stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements. 
  • Should have 5+ of related experience & should have done end to end 2 implementations projects 

Responsibilities of FICO Consultant include:
  • Understanding the business requirement of the organization
  • Preparation of Blue print for implementing the project. 
  •  Implementation of the project. 
  •  Validate the reports requirements 
  •  Validate any changes in customize. 
  •  Provide training to end-user. 
  •  Sort out day to day queries of end users. 
  • Enhancement of the SAP for end user based on requirement. 

  • Attend meetings with the client.
  • Gather Information on their current business processes and prepare a document. 
  •  Gather information on their business requirements and prepare. 
  • Data Mapping-Mapping the source data element for each data element in the target environment. 
  •  Gap Analysis-finding the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes. 
  •  Document on requirements gathered during workshops which is nothing but Business Blueprint. 
  •  Functional testing and Integration Testing. 
  • Configure Global settings and Enterprise structure settings. 
  • Configure G/L, A/P, A/R, Asset Accounting. 
  • Prepare End user training Document. 
  •  Prepare workflow which is nothing but sequence of business processes flow to complete the project within defined scope, budget and time. 
  • Production support after the product goes Live 

  • Handle new implementation, enhancement & client support 
  • Coordinate with client-team & internal project managers 
  • Ensure timely resolutions 
  • Sub skill set like IDOC, MRP/ Schedule lines , FSCM will be added advantage 
  • Excellent client management & comm skills 
  • Min 2 end-to-end & 2 Support projects exp in SAP SD. S4HANA implementation is necessary. 
  • Positive attitude, people friendly nature 
  • Minimum experience required is 5-6 years.
  • Experience in SAP PP/ QM modules with strong understanding of data fields and design
  • " 2+ full cycle SAP PP/QM Implementations along with SAP PP/QM data Implementation" 
  • Good understanding of SAP PP/QM integration with other modules like Material Management, QM etc." 
  • Knowledge of SAP Supply chain data design" 
  • Experience in SAP PP/QM data implementation" 
  • Experience in Winshuttle data loading software is required" 
  • Experience using Excel functionality such as V-lookup" Demonstrated ability to map, cleanse, and Client SAP master data through project work 
  • Partner with IT and SME resources to represent SAP Supply Chain (SCM) master data management and identify and resolve data and design gaps" 
  • Lead local contacts thru Data Mapping, Discovery, and Transformation" Leverage technical expertise to Load and Verify master data" Apply MDM governance rules and concepts to project work" 
  • Provide coaching and detailed knowledge transfer to key business partners" 
  • Deliver training to educate local data analysts, business process owners, and stakeholders on data quality and data governance" 
  • Develop and refine global data documentation as needed: 
  • SOPs, Transaction Aids, Job Aids, etc" Provide timely expert support to affiliates, sites, and outsourced business partners by performing manual entry and mass loads of requested data into the SAP Production environment" 
  • Cross-train and share daily production support workload with other data analysts" 
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and IT to resolve business problems
