The IT team at PIC Bangalore is part of the Global IT Organization and plays a major role in conceptualizing and executing multiple strategic initiatives. The IT organization structures itself into three blocks which are Delivery, Architecture & Platforms ( A&P) and Infrastructure & Operations (I&O).

IT Delivery is responsible for building and deploying end to end IT solutions for business and markets. This will increasingly involve configuring and integrating standard applications (the full stack including infrastructure), rather than customizing or developing software. Input for these solutions comes from the Sector/Function/Markets CIO and Platform & Architecture organizations. Upon acceptance by the business, the deliverables will be transitioned to Operations for "run management." In the run phase, the Delivery organization provides 3rd line application maintenance and support to Operations.

IT Delivery applies the Agile/Scrum methodology and manages external partners on an output basis. Competence centers and sourcing will be organized around Platforms: Idea to Market, Market to Order, Order to Cash/Fulfillment business applications and the enabling Platforms. Key roles in the Competence Centers are the Competence Group Manager, Team Lead, Business Analyst & Technical Lead.

Key areas of responsibility:

As an IT Tech Lead / Solution Architect :

• Accountable that the solution designs meets the functional requirements specified by the Business.

• Accountable that solution design meets platform architecture. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.

• Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, manageability, performance, and security and compliance.

• Approves the content of the release prior to release and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.

• Supports development team in performing build automation and configuration management.

• Supports the Delivery Manager in timely provision of technical environments.

• Supports Business Analyst, Project Manager and Delivery Manager on managing, tracking, and forecasting of solution development.

• Coaches technical leads and developers.

Experience & Knowledge :

1. 3 to 4 full lifecycle experience in Solution manager implementation in the areas of :

a. Change Control Management (CHARM, QGM, Retrofit(Duel landscape synchronization), Central Transport Management, Change and Transport system( SAP, non SAP), etc

b. CTS+/CCTS

c. HP ALM integration (Adaptor configurations), Test Management using SAP-TAO

d. BPCA – Business Process Change Analyser

e. Solman DMS (Document management system)

f. LMDB, SMSY, and Managed system configuration

g. SLD

h. Template Implementation/template roll outs

i. Release Management

j. Custom code lifecycle management/CIO Dashboards

2. Any experience in the following will be added advantage

a. Operations control Center (OCC) - Technical operations(System monitoring, E2E RCA, Wily setup, PI Monitoring, BI Monitoring, End user monitoring)

b. Business process operations/monitoring, Application operations/monitoring, IT infrastructure Operations & Interface monitoring

c. Application incident management/Service Desk

d. Test Management (CBTA)

e. SAP Basis knowledge for Kernel upgrade and SP upgrade , Transport management ,

Knowledge + Experience in SAP BASIS would be an added advantage.

People & Process :

• Definition and enforcement of design and development guidelines, policies and procedures

• Experience with Configuration Management Processes and systems.

• Experience with requirements gathering, effort estimation, impact analysis and supporting project/delivery management with creating delivery plans

• Experience with Application and Infrastructure Support in an outsourced model

• Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies in an onsite/offshore delivery model

• Knowledge of IT Software Validation methodology in regulated medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry would be an added advantage.

• Possesses a broad, enterprise-wide view of business and appreciation for strategy, processes and enabling technologies

• Strong focus on Organizational, Individual and Team KPIs as defined by organization.

• Contribute and promote Knowledge management in the organization.

• Willing to enhance skills and knowledge via trainings and certifications, as required.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors / Masters in Science or Technology

• Open Group (preferable)

• Lean Foundation (preferable)

• Consultancy skills (added advantage)
