Role : System Engineer (SAP BASIS HANA Expert)
Number of positions : 1
Description:
SAP BASIS HANA Expert will be part of Information Management (IM) function.
She/he should be experienced in setup of technical and functional basics activities (Idoc, ALE,
Transport, Refresh/Restore, DDIC, Archiving, Housekeeping, Monitoring…).
Perform all Basis activities reasonably required to maintain system availability and stability on a
regular basis in closed cooperation with our system operation supplier and business product manager.
This position plays a key role in managing and maintaining a sound production environment. In
addition of the basis activities, the operational specialist should be experienced in end to end incident
/ problem management.
The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using agile
mindset and methodology.
Qualification & Experience:
1) Graduate with 3-6 years of experience SAP Basis HANA.
2) Experience in incident / service management / error handling
3) Experience in SAP HANA 1.0/2.0 administration & HANA SLT.
4) Good problem solving and analytical skills
5) Customer facing skill. Worked with European customers 6) Proactive open mindset, ability
for self motivation
Responsibilities
• As operational specialist (involved in the Squad New ops):
o Follow, monitor and process (RCA) systems basis failures (dump, locks, …) o
Coordinate / Follow the end to end incident management
• As an Basis SAP Basis specialist, Deliver the complete Basis support and activities.
o Transport management o Housekeeping o SLT setup & monitoring o Basis
settings o Monitoring (dumps) o RFC creation o DDIC on demand
o OSS (Incidents, SAP Notes implementation, Standard modification)
• Excellent communication skills as required to engage customer on requirements and
delivery.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Customer facing skill. Worked with European customers
