Work alongside the client and Salesforce appointed architects to provide Salesforce architecture leadership to define high level solutions to address business needs on behalf of Intellect Design Arena.
Liaise with stakeholders and teams throughout the product lifecycle and provide continuity of architectural governance for the Salesforce platform.
Serve as a trusted advisor for architectural design and review solutions ensuring they align with the architectural principles, standards and product vision while representing always ensuring Salesforce best practices.
Provide design leadership, mentoring and support to both the Intellect Salesforce practice (onshore and offshore) and to the client.
Review and approve Salesforce design proposals prepared outside of the architecture team.
Be confident and willing to challenge the customer and guide them towards the appropriate solution(s).
Ensure creative uses of standard cloud software to meet business requirements. Adopting a click’s over code approach to solutions at every opportunity.
Identify and document potential key issues, risks and formulate appropriate resolutions
Keep up to date with Salesforce developments and with related emerging technology developments in support of future development and with a view providing recommendations that provide cost effectiveness, business benefit and systems flexibility.
Where needed document and maintain the organisations existing Salesforce solution architecture and technology framework. Make recommendations where improvements can be clearly documented and where introduction of partner-based applications would add value.
Model business and system processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams and data models.
Lead development of solutions in case of new technology developments and for proof of concepts.
Identify trends in customer needs to develop strategic offerings and competitive positioning.
Build strong lasting relationships with clients and prospects, communicating solutions in a clear motivating style.
Work with Intellect delivery leads to ensure client issues are resolved and Salesforce opportunities are maximised.
Support and provide solution leadership to the Head of Salesforce Practice with pipeline of business development opportunities.

5yrs + as an Architect in a mid/large organisation.
5yrs + Salesforce Platform Design and Development Experience.
Expert technical understanding and systems integration experience with Salesforce Platforms including Sales, Service, Financial Services, Community, Marketing and App Cloud.
Proven Salesforce architectural skills and Salesforce design/development experience.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiating, decision making, problem solving, presentation and facilitation skills.
Multiple Salesforce Certifications across Admin (Admin/Advanced Admin), Development (App Builder, Platform Developer), Cloud (Sales and Service) and Architecture (Application Architect and/or System Architect).
Experience of making architectural decisions and providing architectural leaderships to multiple projects.
Strong Stakeholder management. Ability to convey technical information to all audiences with ease, as well as engaging and managing stakeholders effectively.
Ability to gather business requirements working with the client, driving out answers to business problems. This would include facilitating workshops.
Strong desire or evidence of progress to become a Salesforce Certified Architect (CTA).
Hands on experience of providing architecture leadership to a delivery team across onshore and offshore domains.
Hands on experience of building Lightning components, Lightning Connect, Lightning App Builder, Lightning Scheme Builder and Lightning Framework.
Hands on experience with Force.Com technologies.
Hands on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Financial Services Cloud.
Expertise in Salesforce workflows, UI design, reporting, dashboards and application roll outs.
Hands on experience with both Agile (SCRUM, SAFE or LEAN) and Waterfall methodologies.
Multiple Salesforce Project Deployments including release and environment management.
Experience with full development lifecycle, code management strategies, advanced technical concepts, architecture and security approaches, capacity considerations and integration approaches.
Experience with system configuration using workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, process builder, flows and data loader.
Meta data migration between sandboxes and production orgs using either Changesets, Eclipse, Ant, Gearset, AutoRabit or DX tooling.
An understanding of formal delivery methodologies and architecture tools.
Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
Experience of relational databases and data modelling.
Experience with version control tools (e.g. Github, BitBucket).
Experience of continuous integration tools.
Hands on experience of Salesforce integration with Mulesoft, Talend and AWS.
