Job Description
Sales Executives/ Asst. Manager/Residential Sales Executives

Reporting to: ranch head

Key relationship:

1. Branch head

2. Commercial officer

3. Channel partners/direct customers

Key Goals and related activities:

1. Market Development

1.1. Market mapping

1.2. Appointment of cp/fad

1.3. Bring maximum cps under channel finance scheme

1.4. Development of secondary network

1.5. Development of institutional customers/ project customers

1.6. Seeking approval from architects/consultants/ specifiers/Builders

1.7. Timely promotional activity (conducting meets/ seminars/ participation in exhibitions/ proper utilization of pop)

1.8. Competition activity feedback to branch head periodically.

2. Achievement of Annual Sales Target in Volume

2.1. Regular visits to cps/ customers

2.2. Follow journey cycles

2.3. Weekly order booking from cps and ensuring order entry in sap

2.4. Ensuring collection of customer payments in advance

2.5. Guiding distributor’s salesman for effective market coverage

2.6. Managing distributor’s stock and ensuring minimum stock level management for all products

2.7. Placing material indents well in advance (18th of every month) for next month.

2.8. Periodical MIS submission to the branch head

3. Customer Satisfaction

3.1. Getting released delivery notes and coordinating with plant/depot for prompt deliveries

3.2. Attending customer complaints and if require co-ordinate with technical team for resolution

Key performance index:

1. % of achievement against target (SKU wise, Network, Sales Promotion and % of SPA)

2. Network Development (Primary and Secondary)

3. No of approvals from architect/ consultant/Specifiers

4. No of new OEM customers developed in quarters

5. 100% collection of ‘c’ forms on time with no ‘c’ forms outstanding more than 120 days

6. No overdue outstanding


Knowledge : Any graduate with MBA. Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in sales, handing distributors, OEM customers, builders, preferably from electrical industries
