Job Description:

As a Regional Sales Manager Hospital Equipment, reporting to the Sales Director your responsibilities include::
  • Achieve the business objectives of the Western region by heading the team of BDM / ZSM / ASM.
  • Regions covered are Mumbai, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, MP & Gujarat.
  • Head two revenue models i.e. rental business of medical equipment and capital equipment sales and will head the sales, clinical and service teams.
  • Meet and exceed the assigned market share and revenue targets of Sales, Receivables, Rental operations and Logistics for the Western region
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with the Top management of corporate hospital chains and private hospitals.
  • Generate rental revenue, promote and negotiate new contacts, streamline the operations of billing, logistics, supply chain management, to address after sales service issues.
  • Grow the category and retain market leadership in the Hospital Equipment Business.
  • Drive secondary sales through the marketing & sales team and ensure the achievement of targets
  • Develop cordial business relationships with customers and potential customers
  • Maintain a high level of technical proficiency regarding the organizations products, services and techniques.
  • Be alert to all competitive products; design, pricing, promotions and keep management informed in a timely manner.
  • Increase awareness levels of consumers by providing in service training and other customer education in support of new product launches and to increase clinical knowledge of existing products and services.
  • Submit timely reports of sales performance versus forecast, activities, product promotions etc.

Desired Candidate Profile:
  • B.Sc / B.E / B.Tech / MBA with 10 to 15 years of experience in sales of hospital equipment or bio medical devices, equipment, products or services to Hospitals.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing a regional team with a business turnover of at least 25 Cr per annum.
  • Experience in managing large hospitals chains and prior knowledge of hospital functions and operations.
  • Must have a strong connect with hospitals in the region
  • Strong Key Account Management and Customer Relationship Management skills
  • Knowledge of commercial functions is necessary.
  • Exposure to institutional sales and participation in tenders.
  • Conversant in import order processing and LC formalities.
  • Familiar with Using CRM tools like and excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to travel extensively within the Region. Considerable amount of time will be spent in field visits to hospitals and customer meetings.
