Urgently Needed Regional Head- Marketing for a branded Shoe Company
Salary: 70-80 K
Experience: 8-10 yrs in Leather Industry
Qualification: Any Graduate/ Post Graduate
Responsible for the development and performance of all marketing and sales activities for Open Market in assigned region and Online sales.
Establish Plans and Strategies to expand customer base across assigned region.
Co-ordinate sales team and lead the team towards achieving targets, ensuring on-time payment collection, good customer satisfaction, complaints handling and overall contribution to growth of the company.
1. Develop market strategy and a plan to execute the market strategy.
2. Define the product mix necessary to grow the market. Work with inventory controller to track the movement of articles and define strategies to market and sell products.
3. Study market tends and recommend products to be launched.
4. Continuously perform competitor analysis and advice on sales marketing strategies to be taken.
5. Develop a budget for promotional activities like print ads, advertisements, expos separately and submit it to top management for approval. Review on quarterly basis.
6. Prepare a monthly schedule for promotional activities and submit to Supervisor/Finance after getting approval from supervisor.
7. Conduct dealer evaluation and identify efficient dealers. Review on half yearly basis.
8. Conduct market evaluation and collect dealer feedback. Review on Half yearly basis.
9. Plan and execute marketing department activities on yearly, quarterly and monthly basis.
10. Ensure that the team under marketing department are following the marketing policy properly.
10. Oversee preparation of marketing & promotional material by liaising with admin team.
11. Plan and develop yearly, monthly sales plan and submit it to top management for approval.
12. Plan and develop a route plan for self and executives and submit it to supervisor and Asst. Manager HR & Admin, on a weekly basis.
13. Approve the expenses required for visits of Sales executives and Zonal Managers as per travel policy.
14. Verify the monthly, weekly and daily report of Sales executives and provide a consolidated copy of the same to supervisor and HR & Admin.
15. Verify the Daily Sales Report and refine the route plan.
16. Verify the collection report and take the follow ups on payment outstanding. Hand-over the details of the same to the sales executives.
17. Monitor the performance of Zonal Managers, Sales executives and support them in sales activities
18. Prepare a workforce plan for sales and marketing team and submit it to the HR Department. Review on yearly Basis
19. Recruit efficient and skilled employees to the sales and marketing department in discussion with HR department.
20. Conduct the Probation evaluation of the newly joined
21. Performance assessment of the sales and marketing staffs and submit the performance appraisal report to the HR department. Review on quarterly/yearly basis
22. Monitor the attendance and market visits of Sales executives in discussion with HR department.
23. Approve all leaves of reporting Sales executives.
24. Responsible for conducting training for sales and marketing team at fixed frequencies and give proper awareness about brands, product, product lines, and market.
25. Ensure that all the marketing and sales staffs present themselves professionally at all times when representing M&O.
26. Conduct monthly meeting with sales and marketing team, conduct weekly meeting where ever required.
27. Schedule and prepare the agenda for sales meeting.
28. Prepare and maintain the minutes of meetings and submit it to supervisor
29. Attend review meetings conducted by Top management and peers and record the decisions and actions to be taken by self. Take collective decisions and corrective actions in discussion with supporting departments.
30. Submit daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly reports to the top management.
31. Provide stationeries and marketing/promotional material required for marketing team.
32. Provide material indent to warehouse on a monthly basis.
