1.A Radiology technician instructor is responsible for the development, implementation, management, and teaching of a curriculum.
2.The Radiology technician instructor will also provide all classroom/laboratory instruction and will be responsible for training site acquisition, and supervision.
3.Annually preparing and submitting a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives, and daily lesson plans; providing related instruction and supervising student training in dental offices;
4.The total number of hours of training the student received and the related skills achieved; assisting in student placement activities; accurately and punctually submitting to the director all forms and information needed for attendance accounting and grade reporting; establishing an advisory committee to include representations from radiology care providers and agencies.
5.Essential skills required to be a radiology assisting instructor include good knowledge of x-ray practices and procedures including practical ethics and confidentiality; basic radiology records, charts, and forms; radiology terminology; and a sound knowledge of instructional methods and techniques.
