Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of working on proposal teams, on successful proposal efforts resulting in multi-year contracts
  • Thorough understanding of commercial and government procurement policies and practices
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within a technical, project management, writing, or sales-related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
  • Superior writing, copy-editing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and stylistic skills
  • Ability to juggle simultaneous bids at various stages and with various complexities
  • Ability to be flexible for responsiveness in our dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assumes responsibility for planning and managing the proposal process and produces high quality, competitive proposals in a timely manner
  • Responsible for all daily proposal-management activities, including development of work plans, schedules, and milestones
  • Plans, develops, and supervises process to publish a winning proposal that describes why DISYS is the clear choice for our clients’ business needs
  • Understands and communicates DISYS various service offerings (Staffing, Enterprise Technology, Application Services, Infrastructure Support Services, Automation) both verbally and in written contentIndependently writes proposal content and seamlessly integrates content written by other team members, including external consultants
  • Interfaces with Technical Leads, Strategy/Capture Leads, and Pricing Leads to ensure consistency, and accuracy of messages across volumes
  • Leads proposal-team reviews to produce actionable feedback and improve proposal quality
  • Maintains compliance with client requirements, internal department processes, RFx requirements, and established sales methodology
  • Ensures buy-in from multiple departments, including but not limited to Practice Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, Marketing, Contracts, Legal, Pricing, etc. to ensure the response is both comprehensive and consistent
